NRC Speed Session: Nike Stride Event

On April 2, 2015 Nike released their newest Nike Free 3.0 and 4.0 collection. Nike LA held an exclusive event for the Nike+ Run Club on the roof helipad of the AT&T Transamerica Building in downtown Los Angeles. A few lucky members were able to participate in one of the four Treadmill Speed Sessions which included test running the new collection. The session was led by Nike+ Master Coaches: Blue Benadum and Sally McRae. I was fortunate enough to partake in the final session just in time to see the iconic skyline lit up in all it’s glory. It was literally a breathtaking affair that I am grateful to have been a part of. Here is a little recap of the evening’s shenanigans.

The AT&T Transamerica Building is located in the heart of downtown LA and can be seen from the 110 freeway.

You had me at hello.
Team Swoosh suiting up

Admiring the new kicks: Armed and ready for action
Pre-game ritual: Can I get an "Ahhh Swoooosh?!”
Rooftop ready.
 Breath taking.
Literally.

Thank you to Nike Master Coach Sally McRae for hosting an incredible session.
Stretch your legs,
Stretch your limits.
Bringing it in for one last
"Ahhhh Swoosh!"

Force of Nature

Just do it.
Then do it again.
Left a little piece of my heart up there.
Class of 2015
One day I’ll look back at this and smile because it was life, and I decided to live it.
